John received his medical degree from Universidad del
Valle Medical School (Cali, Colombia) in 1984. After receiving his medical degree, He started a health center in a remote
region of the Colombian Amazon area. From 1990 to 1994 He had Ph.D. training in Molecular Parasitology and Molecular Immunology
at Tulane University (New Orleans, LA) and New York University (New York, NY). From 1995 to 1996, He moved to work as Director
of Technology Assesment and Research Associate at Nichols Institute - Quest Diagnostics (San Juan Capistrano, CA) where He
started the Biotechnology Department. In 2001, He received his Law Degree from Rutgers University School of Law (Newark,
NJ) where He was Associate Editor of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. During 2004, Dr. Martinez completed
course-work toward an LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property concentrating in Patent Law and more specifically in Biotechnology
Patent Law. He is finishing his thesis work about Antitrust and Biotechnology Patent rights.
From 2004 to 2005, John
worked as a Patent Law Clerk at Scully, Scott, Murphy and Presser (SSMP)in Garden City, NY, and Patent Attorney at Pendorf
and Cutliff (P&C) in Tampa, FL. At SSMP and P&C, he worked in the prosecution of Biotechnology patents, as well as, Medical
Technology, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Mechanical and Laser patents.
John is admitted as an Attorney at Law in New
Jersey (2001), New York (2002), and as a Patent Attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He is member
of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the New York State Bar
Association (NYSBA) and New Jersey Bar Association (NJBA).
John is fluent in Spanish.

Victor received a B.S. degree in Physics and and a
B.S. degree in Mathematics at the State University of New York (SUNY) - Stony Brook, NY in 1993. In addition, Victor earned
enough college credits for a minor in Computer Science. He received the SUNY, Stony Brook-Award as the Best graduating student
in both, the Physics and Mathematics Departments. During college, He also received the Barry M. Goldwater Scolarship and
Excellence Award, and the American Physical Society Scholarship for Minorities in Physics. Since 1992 to the present, Victor
has been a member of the Sigma Pi Sigma Honor Society for Physics students and the National Key Honor Society. At SUNY-Stony
Brook He was Vice-President of the Society of Physics Students.
Victor continued with graduate school at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, where he received his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics in 1999. During
graduate school, Victor was awarded the MIT Fellowship in Physics. At MIT, Victor was one of the Directors of the Latino
Student Association.
After graduate school, Victor moved to Archelon Asset Magmt., LLC, an investment company in Chicago,
IL, where he worked as a Financial engineer until 2002. From 2002 to 2003, he was an Associate Quantitative Researcher with
the Citadel Investment Group (Chicago, IL). Then, from 2003 to 2004, he became a Quantitative Researcher with Tradelink (Chicago,
IL).
Since 2004 to the present, Victor has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and
Finance in the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College (New York, NY). At Baruch College, Victor teaches Investment Analysis
courses.
Victor is fluent in Spanish.
